The first Sunday after Labor day is Grandparents day.

Today I post these to remember Sarah Byrd (my dad;s mom). Frank Skidmore (the gradnfather I knew) and Nova Byrd (middle) who was killed in a coal mine in 1918

Sarah taught me to fish (with multiple hooks) and to gamble (two cents each) playing rummy.
