Stephen E. Adams 61, died February 12, 2007. He served in the Navy, stationed on the U.S.S. Shangrila aircraft carrier. He retired from the railroad after working 41 years for the Indianapolis Union, Penn Central, Conrail and CSX. For 31 years, he was a dedicated volunteer for Little League Baseball. He held the position of Umpire and Chief of Franklin Township Little League and was a member of District 12 and Indiana State Umpire Association. He also worked 31 years at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the Safety Patrol. Steve is survived by wife, Judith; daughter, Deborah (John) Rockey; sons, Gary (Michelle) Straber, Brian, Anthony and Timothy; grandchildren, Benjamin, Thomas and Valerie Rockey, Garrick, Logan and Lauren Straber and Trae Adams.
