Joseph L. Allen 63, of Indianapolis, passed away May 25, 2007. He was born September 23, 1943. Joseph graduated from Manual High School in 1964. He was a forklift operator at KYB for over 20 years. Before KYB he worked at GAC and ETS. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marilyn J. Allen; daughters, Cyndi Weisheit (Dave), Sheila Herring (Martin), and Vicki Lamb (Harold); sons, Thomas Joseph Allen and Joseph DuBosh; mother, Flora Scoville; sisters, Flora Bonta and Mary Stamatis; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Pavey. Services will be held Wednesday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at Higher Calling Community Church, 10710 Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis, IN with visitation May 29 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Services entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.
