John was an avid lover of the Old West....especially the town of Tombstone AZ....where he wintered one year and made numerous trips there...with his horse "Rose"....his ashes reside at the Crystal Palace on the corner of 5th and Allen in Tombstone AZ... He truly enjoyed having a popular name thanks to Shelley Fabres...."Johnny Angel"..... He ran for mayor of Davenport Iowa... Owned and ran a newspaper "The Outlook" in Indianapolis IN.... Survived 3 open heart surgeries with a total for 11 by-passes.... He was my brother and my HERO....and I miss him Love ya bro....your little sister.....Gayle
