Joyce C. Miller, 57, Indianapolis, passed away December 29, 2003. She was an elementary teacher, who loved children, for 33 years at Westlake Elementary School, Wayne Township. Mrs. Miller belonged to Chapel Rock Christian Church. She was a lover of antiques and crafts. Joyce loved to laugh and welcomed all. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or donor;s favorite charity. Services will be 11 a.m. Jan. 3 at University Heights Christian Church. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave. and 10 to 11 a.m. Sat. at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Survivors include her husband, David Evan Miller; children, Kevan D. Miller, Rebekah L. Shaffer, Stevan C. Miller; mother, Zora Dixon; brother, Ron L. Dixon.
