66, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 19, 2012. He was born on March 26, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Edward and Margaret Rogers. He was an active member of the Friends of Garfield Park, the Garfield Poetry Circle and the Central Indiana Writer's Association. Mike retired after 30 years of working as an architect. Survivors include his sister in law, Patricia Alford; 2 nephews, Timothy and Daniel Rogers and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2012 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Fu neral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Mike will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
