Joyce Ellen Brown Mincy, age 77 of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1pm at Crafton Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm until 8pm and after 6am Monday at the funeral home.  A native of Indianapolis, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Roy and Betty Bulthaup Brown.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Jim Mincy, son Ricky Mincy, and brother Larry Brown. Joyce was retired from the Cedars Flowers and Gifts.  She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking.  Survivors include 7 Children- Mildred Hopkins of Franklin, Dean Riggin of Franklin, Donna Carter of Franklin, Yvonne Lusk (Billy) of Floyd, Virginia, Brian Mincy of Franklin, Elizabeth Mock (Billy) of Franklin, and Chris Mincy (Laura) of Blue Springs, Missouri, daughter-in-law- Janet Mincy of Panama City, Florida, 2 Brothers- Roy Mason Brown and Barry Brown both of Indianapolis, Indiana, 26 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and her special dog- Leah.
